Shall We Dance is a 1937 American film directed by Mark Sandrich. It stars Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers as a ballet dancer and a musical star whose romance is complicated when a rumor spreads that they are secretly married.

They look at a clock but are too drunk to read it. Arthur asks Jeffrey what his watch says, and putting his wristwatch to his ear, Jeffrey responds, "Says tick, tick, tick, tick, tick."
