Casino Royale is a 2006 British spy film directed by Martin Campbell. It stars Daniel Craig as a secret agent on an assignment to bankrupt a financier for terrorist terrorist organizations through a high-stakes poker game.

Like the 1967 film, it is based off Ian Fleming's novel of the same name. Many other films from the James Bond series—Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, Casino Royale (1967), On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, Licence to Kill, GoldenEye, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day—also appear in The Clock.
